Accurate Evaluation of Vibrational Nonlinear Optical Properties
Abstract
The accurate evaluation of the nonlinear optical properties becomes essential to pattern new NLO materials used in informatics, telecommunications, and laser technology. In this work we will study different methodologies to predict the cheaper way to calculate the NLO properties with semi-quantitative precision and we will also analyze the case of the highly anharmonic systems, where the conventional Bishop-Kirtman perturbation series might behave poorly.
