Features of Solar Wind Fluctuations Along the Spectrum (Invited)
Abstract
Solar wind fluctuations extend over several frequency decades from the MHD regime to the kinetic regime across the proton gyrofrequency. Different features characterizing the different regimes will be reviewed in the light of the latest findings. Particular focus will be devoted to intriguing aspects of turbulent fluctuations like Intermittency which, in particular, still needs further studies in order for us to fully understand the origin of the coherent structures at the basis of this phenomenon.
