The impact of the correlation between reference materials on the metrological compatibility of isotope amount ratios measured by different MS techniques (Invited)
Abstract
The metrological compatibility between isotope amount ratios measured in a set of uranium samples by GSMS, TIMS and MC-ICPMS techniques is verified in this study. It was found that the correlation between the isotope reference materials employed in the measurements is a very important issue because it can reduce the standard uncertainty of the difference of isotope ratios, which in some cases compromised the good agreement between measured isotope amount ratios.
