Phase diagrams of the three-band d p model
Abstract
The 2D Hubbard model is the simplest model that possibly explains the occurrence of high Tc superconductivity in cuprates. In particular, the three-band Hubbard model with d and p orbitals in the CuO 2 plane probably captures the physics of high-temperature superconductivity. The phase diagrams for the three-band Hubbard model are presented using the weak coupling perturbation theory and the variational Monte Carlo method.
