X-ray diffraction studies on (NaCl) x(NaBr) y-x(NaI) 1-y crystals
Abstract
We have grown (NaCl) x(NaBr) y-x(NaI) 1-y crystals by the melt method for various values of x and y. Thermal parameters like Debye-Waller factor, Debye temperature, mean square amplitude of vibration and Debye frequency were determined using the X-ray powder diffraction intensity data. The results obtained are reported here.
