Past and present regional climate simulations for the Iberian Peninsula
Abstract
In this work we present the analysis of three regional climate integrations. The experiments have been performed with a climate version of MM5 Model with a spatial resolution of 30km over the Iberian Peninsula. The first run covers the period 1501-1990, and uses Erik-1 (ECHO-g) as driving conditions. The other two runs cover the period 1991-2100 for two climate change scenarios (A2 and B2). The obtained results indicate that the warming patterns show strong differences between different months, and maximum and minimum temperature. On the other hand these patterns seems to be almost independent of the scenario and the period.
