We present the effect of Ag doping upon structural and magnetic properties in La 0.7Sr 0.3-xAg xMnO 3 for x=0, 0.05, 0.1, 0.15 and 0.2. Our samples have been elaborated using the solid-state reaction at high temperature. X-ray diffraction (XRD) patterns show that our powder samples are single phase and crystallize in the rhombohedral distorted structure with R3̄ c space group. The unit cell volume increases with increasing Ag content from 348.4 Å 3 for x=0 to 354.4 Å 3 for x=0.2. Magnetization measurements vs. temperature show that all our samples exhibit a paramagnetic-ferromagnetic transition with decreasing temperature. The Curie temperature TC decreases from 365 K for x=0 to 286 K for x=0.2.
