Surface crystallization and magnetic properties in Co 66Fe 4Mo 2Si 16B 12
Abstract
In this work a study of surface crystallization and the related surface magnetic properties in Co 66 Fe 4Mo 2Si 16B 12 is presented. The results show that thermal treatments performed on as-quenched and polished samples lead to very different crystallization states and that the surface defects are the main origin of nuclei for the heterogeneous crystallization. According to this different crystallization, the surface magnetic behaviour becomes harder when the sizes of the crystals and the degree of suface crystallization increase, whereas the superficial hysteresis loops are horizontally shifted for low dilution of crystallites.
