Lightcurve for Hungaria asteroid 1600 Vyssotsky over several apparitions
Abstract
Photometric observations of the Hungaria asteroid 1600 Vyssotsky were previously reported by Warner (1999). Those data were reanalyzed to confirm and, if possible, refine the original results. In addition, analysis was performed on previously unpublished data obtained during the 2004 and 2005 apparitions. The average synodic period for the three apparitions was found to be 3.2011±0.0004h, with the periods for each apparition within 1-sigma of the average. The amplitude of the lightcurve varied from 0.16-0.18m but most notable was the change in the shape of the curve.
