Rhic Experimental Summary:. the Message from pp, d + au and au + au Collisions
Abstract
We review here the data from the RHIC experimental programme in view of the first available summary of Au+Au, d+Au and pp collisions taken since the startup RHIC collision. We will focus here on several highlights of the experimental data, including the striking disappearance of angular correlations at high transverse momentum (p⊥). The view from the experiments is optimistic, yet reserved, regarding the question of the formation of a Quark-Gluon Plasma at RHIC. We discuss here some of the questions that would need to be addressed in the future, specifically addressed to theorists, to help shed light on the possible paths to answer the question to the satisfaction of the community.
