Investigation of Interrelation of Disturbances in the System of Lithosphere-Ionosphere of the Earth by Coordinated Registration of the Geophysical Fields in the Middle-Latitude Russia
Abstract
One of the fundamental problems of geophysics is revealing of coupling of the dynamic processes occurring in various geospheres. For many years geophysicists investigate a correlation of disturbances of heliogeophysical conditions, the magnetosphere, ionosphere and lithosphere. The mechanisms of their correlation have a hypothetical character; however, the analysis of the received data allows assuming that these disturbances may be connected with each other. In geophysical observatory Mikhnevo near Moscow (54:56 N, 37:44 E) coordinated measurements of magnetic and electric fields, conditions of the ionosphere, and seismic disturbances are carried out. Results of the investigations have shown that the removed earthquakes cause disturbances in the ionosphere on distances in tens thousand kilometers from a source. Simultaneous measurements of variations of the magnetic field and seismic disturbances have shown that in some cases geomagnetic disturbances previous or relatives on time by the moment of the seismic wave arrival caused by removed earthquakes are observed.
