Study of nucleon resonances in (γ, π) N → φX reactions within a coupled-channel Lagrangian model.
Abstract
We study pion- and photo-induced reactions on the nucleon within a coupled-channel effective Lagrangian model to extract baryon resonance properties. All available experimental data on the (γ/π) N → πN, 2πN, ηN, ωN reactions in the energy region mπ + mN <= √ s <= 2GeV are simultaneously analysed to constrain baryon resonance parameters. A good description agreement of calculated observables with experiment is achieved and baryon resonance parameters are extracted.
