The Electrodynamics of Media Under Time-Reversal Condition Cp-Violation and Possibility of T-Odd Cp-Odd Interaction Testing Beyond the Standard Model
Abstract
T-noninvariance (CP-violation) results in the existence of experimentally unstudied new physical phenomena: time-reversal-violating generation of static electric and magnetic fields and CP-odd optical gyrotropy of a medium (photon polarization plane rotation in an external electric field and birefringence depending on mutial orientation of electric and magnetic fields). The above penomenon enables to improve the sensitivity of measurement of the electrical dipole moment of an electron (nucleon, nucleus) and the constants, describing T-odd (CP-odd) interactions.
