Geometrical analysis of the large scale structure in the Universe
Abstract
Minkowski's Functionals have been recently introduced as a tool for the geometric analysis of the large scale structure through its application to isodensity surfaces. In this paper, we present a new method for the estimation of Minkowski's Functionals based on the Delaunay Tessellation, and we show the results of its application to the measurement of two of them, the surface and the volume, in a LCDM N-Body cosmological simulation. In this way we show the validity of the method.
