Photonuclear Production of Hypernucleus in Delta Resonance Energy Range
Abstract
Photonuclear reactions provide an efficient mechanism of hypernucleus production in the intermediate energy range. We present here the hypernucleus formation probability, as well as the residual nuclei mass and charge distributions, as calculated in a time dependent multicollisional intranuclear cascade model. The emission of hadrons during the rapid phase of the photonuclear reaction and the characteristics of the residual nucleus formed at the end of this phase are discussed.
