Dalitz-Plot Analysis of Λ c+ Three Body Decays Considering the Spin of the Particles

We have used the helicity formalism ^1,2 to calculate the spin dependent amplitudes for the following Λ _c⁺ three body decays: Λ _c⁺ -> pK^- π ⁺, Λ _c⁺ ->Σ ⁺ π ^- π ⁺. We simulated events according to these amplitudes assigning values for the amplitude parameters to be later recovered by a five dimension Minuit ³ fit. We could recover the parameters used in the simulated data with reasonable agreement.
