a Dispersive Model for Triple Meson Vertex Functions
Abstract
We used a dispersion relation to calculate triple meson vertex functions in the t-channel from microscopically calculated vertex functions in the s-channel. These vertex functions were used to calculate the S-wave intensities for the reaction π-p → π0π0n. Special interest was put on the t-dependence of these data as measured by the E852 and the GAMS collaboration, with their peculiar behaviour in the region of the f0(980) resonance.
