Possible EPR Experiment with Neutral Pseudo-Scalar Meson-Antimeson Correlated Pairs
Abstract
Local realism and quantum theory can be discriminated by means of EPR tests with correlated K0 /line {K0 } or Bd0 /line {Bd0 } pairs produced in Φ or B-factories: the local realistic asymmetry for observing pairs with like and unlike flavour at different proper times remarkably differs from the quantum mechanical prediction. The experimental feasibility of the EPR test for B-mesons is discussed: asymmetric B-factories provide a powerful tool for the discrimination between the two theories.
