An Analysis of Unpolarized Structure Function Moments in n* Excitation Region
Abstract
The main goal of the present analysis is the direct evaluation of the moments of the structure function F2, which implies numerical integration of the experimental data over x at fixed Q2, in whole available Q2 range. This experimental information will allow to extract the contribution of the higher twists related to multiparton correlation effects. Moreover the comparison with theoretical predictions either based on first-principle calculations, like lattice QCD simulations, or obtained from models of the nucleon structure may represent an important test of the nonperturbative QCD regime.
