Calculated Groundstate Properties of Erbium Isotopes in Comparison with Measured 2+-STATES
Abstract
The deformation properties of nuclei in the vicinity of Erbium are calculated within the relativistic mean-field and the Skyrme-Hartree-Fock model and compared to experimentally measured 2+-states. The investigation in this region is of special interest since the lowest 2+-energy of an isotope-chain is not located in the midshell region.
