Automatic Reading Technique of Analog Meter Using Automatic Correctionof Measurement Basing Point

In electric power facilities, a lot of analog meters without data transfer function are used. Field engineers have to read them manually in their daily work. In order to support the field engineers, this paper proposes an automatic reading technique of analog meters. Two features of this technology are automatic basing point compensation and automatic compensation of difference in position of the meters.
