Search for Young Substellar Companions with Naco/vlt
Abstract
Young and nearby stellar associations became of particular interest over the past few years as ideal targets to search for circumstellar disks and low-mass companions of young stars. The detection of young substellar objects isolated or as companion to star is crucial to constrain the present scenarii of planet and brown dwarf formation and improve our undestanding of the physical processes involved. In this excisting context I will present the recent results of high contrast observations performed among young nearby associations and conducted with the NACO instrument of the 8m-UT4 at the VLT.
