Supernova 2003la in MCG +10-15-89
Abstract
Further to IAUC 8257, T. Boles reports the discovery of an apparent supernova (mag 18.0) on unfiltered CCD images taken on Dec. 18.031 and 20.868 UT. SN 2003la is located at R.A. = 10h30m20s.21, Decl. = +61o15'48".5, which is approximately 4".9 west and 1".2 south of the center of MCG +10-15-89. SN 2003la is not present on Boles' images from Feb. 22 and May 6 (limiting mag 19.5) or on Digitized Sky Survey red (1991) or blue (1996) plates.
