Abstract
Further to IAUC 8225, T. Puckett and L. Cox report the discovery of an apparent supernova (mag 17.0) on an unfiltered CCD frame (limiting mag 20.0) taken with a 0.50-m reflector on Dec. 26.03 UT (and confirmed on CCD frames taken by Puckett on Dec. 27.15). SN 2003lc is located at R.A. = 1h23m25s.82, Decl. = +30 47'14".9 (equinox 2000.0), which is 32".1 west and 10".7 north of the center of UGC 934. The new object was not present on images taken by Puckett during 1998-2002.
