Adaptive Optics Survey of Young and Nearby Associations
Abstract
Young and Nearby stellar associations became of particular interest over the past few years as ideal targets to search for low-mass companions and/or circumstellar disks. The detection of young sub-stellar objects and proto-planetary disks id crucial to constrain the current models of planetary formation, and improve our understanding of the physical processes involved. In such exciting context, I will present the results of the adaptive optics surveys of three Young Associations : Capricornus, MBM 12 and the Tucana-HorologiumiA.
