Timing Features in Black Hole Candidates
Abstract
I present a paradigm for the fitting and interpretation of the power density spectra of accreting neutron stars and black holes. I show that a superposition of multiple Lorentzians provides a better description of the observed spectra, without the need for a scale-free (∝ f-1) component.
