Statistical Geometry of Random Weave States
Abstract
I describe the first steps in the statistical geometry approach to semiclassical states for non-perturbative canonical quantum gravity. I construct random spin networks, discuss their contribution to areas and volumes using results from quantum geometry, and briefly mention how semiclassical states may be built out of them.
