Probing the Few-Body Systems with Bremsstrahlung
Abstract
A series of bremsstrahlung measurements have been performed with the superconducting cyclotron, AGOR, at KVI. These measurements, on the proton-proton and proton-deuteron systems, aim to investigate the nucleon-nucleon interaction as the nucleons go off their mass shell. Cross sections and analyzing powers have been measured for all possible exit channels of both systems with an incident proton energy of 190 MeV, which is below the particle-production threshold. Some results of the real-photon production are presented for both systems and compared to theoretical predictions.
