Proton-Dissociative Diffractive Photoproduction of Vector Mesons at Large |t| at Hera
Abstract
Diffractive photoproduction of vector mesons, γp → VN, where N is the proton dissociative system, has been measured in e+p interactions with the ZEUS detector at HERA with 24 pb-1 of integrated luminosity. The data were taken at the photon-proton center-of-mass energy W ≃ 100 GeV and extended up to -t = 12 GeV2, where t is the square of the four-momentum transferred to the vector meson. The differential cross section dσ/dt, and the results of the decay angle analysis as a function of t for ρ0, ϕ and J/ψ photoproduction are presented.
