Decoherence of quantum registers in the weak-coupling limit
Abstract
A description is formulated for decoherence in quantum registers, in the weak-coupling limit for non-Markovian dynamical evolution. The decoherence rates for different time-order approximations are explicitly derived. A general criteria for decoherence-free states is proposed. A new error-correction scheme in the projected subspaces is presented.
