Bunching parameter analysis and multifractal multiplicity distributions in hadron-hadron and hadron-nucleus interactions
Abstract
Multifractal negative binomial distribution derived from the nonlinear Markov process has been used to describe the multiplicity distributions in hadron-hadron and hadron-nucleus interactions at √s > 10 GeV. The analysis aims at the study of intermittent structure of hadron production in h-h and h-A interactions in terms of bunching parameters and a comparison with the conventional negative binomial approach. This is in continuation of our earlier analysis of e+e- and bar p p interactions.
