Braid Group and Configuration Space of the System of Composite Fermions
Abstract
It is shown that composite fermions, particles statistically different from anyons, could be described in braid group formalism. In the proposed model the ways of exchange of the particles are limited. The new group describing exchanges of particles is defined. The explicit form of this group for two cases is calculated. It was shown, that foundations of the model lead to idea of new configuration space for the composite particles, which is defined as covering space of configuration space for uncomposite particles.
