Analysis of the Neutrino Propagation in Neutron Stars in the Framework of Relaitvistic Nuclear Models
Abstract
Three relativistic nuclear models: σ + ω, σ + ω + πPV + ρ and σ + ω + πMIX + ρ are used to calculate the neutrino cross section in neutron star matter. The second model includes the πN interaction with its pure pseudovector coupling form while the last model considers a mixing of pseudoscalar and pseudovector couplings. The Hartree and Hartree-Fock developments are applied and compared at two nuclear matter densities. An analysis of the main factors to which neutrino cross section is dependent is carried out.
