Parity Violating Electron Scattering
Abstract
We study the parity-violating (PV) components of the target asymmetry {A} in elastic electron-proton scattering discussing their sensitivity to the strangeness proton form factors. In particular, we show that the component of {A} along the momentum transfer and the transverse component could be used for constraining the strangeness magnetic moment and the strangeness radius, respectively. Moreover, both components could give experimental information on the strangeness axial charge.
