Theories and Applications Beyond Mean Field with Effective Forces
Abstract
Techniques beyond the mean field are used to describe the properties of the low-lying states of the light nuclei 30,32,34Mg. The theoretical framework is the angular momentum projected Generator Coordinate Method using the quadrupole moment as collective coordinate and the Gogny force as the effective interaction.
