Determination of neutrino oscillation parameters at a neutrino factory
Abstract
We examine the ability of a neutrino factory to determine the neutrino oscillation parameters in three-neutrino models that can describe existing solar and atmospheric neutrino data. We determine what values of the experimental parameters Eμ (stored muon energy), L (oscillation length), N (number of useful stored muons), and S (detector size) are required to meet the various physics goals of such a machine.
