All-sky compiled catalogue of 2.5 million stars
Abstract
The all-sky Compiled Catalogue of more than 2.5 million stars with the limiting magnitude V ≈14(m) was created as a result of combining of star lists from present-day large high-precision catalogues of space (HIPPARCOS Tycho family catalogues) and ground-based (PPM, CMC11) observations and reducing them to the standard systems of corresponding stellar data. The main stellar data presented in the Compiled Catalogue are the equatorial coordinates (J2000, epoch 1991.25), proper motions in the HIPPARCOS system and space B, V stellar magnitudes in the Johnson system. Trigonometric parallaxes, spectral classes in the MK or HD system, multiplicity and variability flags are also given for some stars. A review of the high-precision large catalogues is also provided.
