Singularities of the SeibergWitten map
Abstract
We construct an explicit solution of the SeibergWitten map for a linear gauge field on the noncommutative plane. We observe that this solution as well as the solution for a constant curvature diverge when the noncommutativity parameter θ reaches certain event horizon in the θspace. This implies that an ordinary YangMills theory can be continuously deformed by the SeibergWitten map into a noncommutative theory only within one connected component of the θspace.
