A Proposal for the Identification of the Hydraulic Transmissivity Parameter in a Confined Aquifer.
Abstract
The parameter estimation in a partial differential equation like the one which governs the groundwater flux in a porous media, is a typical non-linear inverse and ill-posed problem. The concept of regularization, widely used to solve ill-posed problems, is especially important in the presence of errors in the measured data to solve stably inverse problems. In the meeting we will present a proposal based on the discrepance principle to estimate the transmissivity parameter in a numerical stable way.
