Search for the H-Dibaryon and S = -2 Nuclei via the (K-, K+) Reaction Bnl-Ags E885)

We have performed an experiment to search for the H-dibaryon and S = -2 nuclei through the (K^-, K⁺) reaction at the BNL-AGS (E885). Data analysis is currently in progress. An overview of the experiment and some preliminary results on the direct production of the S = -2 system are presented.
