Nicholson, Seth Barnes (1891-1963)

Astronomer, born in Springfield, IL, joined the staff of the Mount Wilson Observatory. While photographing the recently discovered eighth moon of Jupiter with the 36 in Crossley reflector, he discovered the ninth, whose orbit he computed.
