Fe K lines and Compton reflection in Seyfert 1s: average properties and correlations
Abstract
We study the shape of the Fe K α lines and its correlation with the power law spectral index and the strength of Compton reflection in Seyfert 1s using data from ASCA, RXTE, BeppoSAX and Ginga. We will present the obtained distributions of spectral properties and their correlations as well as detailed studies of a few individual objects. The data can be understood by a model consisting of an overlapping hot and cold disks surrounded by a large-scale torus.
