Supernova 2000cr in NGC 5395
Abstract
Marco Migliardi and Alessandro Dimai report their discovery of a supernova (mag about 17) on CCD images taken on June 25.90 and 25.94 UT with the 0.5-m Ullrich telescope at the Col Drusci Observatory in the course of the CROSS program. SN 2000cr is located at R.A. = 13h58m38s.37, Decl. = +37o26'12".4 (equinox 2000.0), which is 2" east and 44" north of the center of NGC 5395. Nothing was visible at this location on a CROSS image obtained on June 3 (limiting mag 18.5).
