The phase space structure of the rhomboidal four-body problem
Abstract
We study the motion in the planar, rhombic four-body problem with negative energy by means of Poincaré sections, for different mass ratios. It is found that the larger the mass ratio, the more extended is the region of stable motion in the phase diagram.
