Transient conical parametric scattering of two orthogonally polarized waves in BaTiO3
Abstract
The strength of the transient parametric scattering in BaTiO3 is shown to be strongly dependent on the initial conditions of the sample illumination. It is shown that the effect can be explained by a considerable increase of the seeding radiation intensity after pre-exposure of the sample to the ordinarily polarized pump beam.
