On the nature of the Tunguska meteorite
Abstract
The complete lack of stony splinters over vast territory (15 000 km2) surrounding the epicenter of the Tunguska catastrophe implies that the Tunguska body is unlikely to be an asteroid, as assumed by several researchers. We review the arguments that make this hypothesis unlikely.
