The dispersion equation for a wave number of the electromagnetic wave in a random medium of the parallel dielectric cylinders
Abstract
In a frame of quasicrystal approximation the dispersion equations are obtained for the wave vector of a coherent electromagnetic wave propagating in a media which contains a random set of parallel dielectric cylinders with possible overlapping. The results are compared with that for the case when a regularity at the cylinder placement exists.
