Cross Sections calculations of Li6-nucleus at high energies
Abstract
Total inelastic nucleus-nucleus cross sections for Li6 -nucleus interactions are calculated on the basis of the Glauber scattering theory. The Li6 as a projectile is taken to be a loosely bound system possessing the cluster structure α +d. The scattering amplitude for α N and dN are used as inputs in the calculations .Results of these calculations show fine agreement with the experimental data of Li6emulsion interactions at 4.5 GeV/c per nucleon.
