Gravitongraviton scattering, BelRobinson and energy (pseudo)tensors
Abstract
Motivated by recent work involving the gravitongraviton tree scattering amplitude, and its twin descriptions as the square of the BelRobinson tensor, B_{µicons/Journals/Common/nu" ALT="nu" ALIGN="MIDDLE"/>icons/Journals/Common/alpha" ALT="alpha" ALIGN="MIDDLE"/>icons/Journals/Common/beta" ALT="beta" ALIGN="MIDDLE"/>}, and as the `currentcurrent interaction' square of gravitational energy pseudotensors t_{icons/Journals/Common/alpha" ALT="alpha" ALIGN="MIDDLE"/>icons/Journals/Common/beta" ALT="beta" ALIGN="MIDDLE"/>}, we find an exact tensorsquare root equality 02649381/16/9/301/img1, for a combination of Einstein and LandauLifschitz <NOBR>t_{icons/Journals/Common/alpha" ALT="alpha" ALIGN="MIDDLE"/>icons/Journals/Common/beta" ALT="beta" ALIGN="MIDDLE"/>},</NOBR> in Riemann normal coordinates. In the process, we relate, onshell, the usual superpotential basis for classifying pseudotensors with one spanned by polynomials in the curvature.
