Recently, a number of authors have rised the question whether Gamma-Ray Burst afterglows can be detected by chance in Supernova search campaigns. I present here the simplest investigation one can do in this manner, namly to compare the available GRB catalog with the available SN catalog. The considered question is twofold: a) Is there a potential GRB afterglow among the SNs reported by various observers over the last years? b) Is there a Supernova event contained in the BATSE GRB catalog? Perhaps, GRB 980425 has given us already an answer to the latter question.
